David Eckstein was born in San Lorenzo, California and attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo for undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He actively participated in rodeo timed events, worked at Westerly Stud and learned to shoe horses.

Dr. Eckstein graduated from U.C. Davis in 1976. He spent three years at Valley Large Animal Practice in Morgan Hill, California, a four-doctor large animal hospital and ambulatory practice.
In 1979, Dr. Eckstein, along with his new wife Ellen moved to Templeton, California to open Templeton Veterinary Clinic.

Born and raised in Templeton, Debbie graduated from Templeton High and followed with a Bachelor of Science from U.C. Davis. In addition to her office management skills, Debbie also provides veterinary technician skills and a wealth of farm experience from her years of breeding and raising Angus cattle. She was a member and is now a leader

In addition to her office management skills, Debbie also provides veterinary technician skills and a wealth of farm experience from her years of breeding and raising Angus cattle. She was a member and is now a leader of the Templeton 4-H Beef Group, helping give kids a rounded and responsible experience in raising and showing cattle. Debbie has worked in the veterinary field since she was 12, and has worked for Dr. Eckstein since the summer of 1980.

Laurie Gage
Laurie grew up in Southern California and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from U.C.L.A. in 1978. She currently resides in Paso Robles, California on 26 acres where she and her husband operate a private equine boarding and rehabilitation facility. In addition, she offers full charge bookkeeping services to a small group of clients, including Templeton Veterinary Clinic.
